Little Explorers is a 6-week program for children at least 2-3 years old* to experience nature-based learning alongside their caregiver. Bring your children to get hands-on with nature and experience a variety of what nature has to offer through play and exploration! The class will be led by a teacher who will help children and adults feel comfortable in nature and discover the joy and benefits of learning outdoors. Each day will have a theme and include a song, activity and hike. Children are never too young to be outside exploring nature, so come join the fun!

• This 6- week session will meet on Aug 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, Sept 14th and 21st. 
  • There will be no class on Sept 7th.
  • Sept 28th will be saved as a makeup date.
• Each class day will meet at a different location on the Greenway. A full schedule with locations will be emailed before the first day of class.
• There are TWO one-hour classes offered each Monday; 9:00-10:00am or 10:30-11:30am
  • These classes follow the same curriculum and are not interchangeable throughout the entire 6-week session
• *Children must be two years old by the date of the first class they are registered for. (Siblings under 2 years old do not need to sign up. Not all adventures are stroller-friendly.)Caregivers must be present for the entirety of the class.

• During sessions 2 and 4, there will be ONE one-hour class offered each Thursday; 9:30-10:30am

  • Session One (Mondays): 2/23/26 – 3/30/26
• Registration opens March 2, 2026 for:
  • Session Two (Mondays): 4/13/26 – 5/18/26
  • Session Two (Thursdays): 4/16/26-5/21/26
• Registration opens June 1, 2026 for:
  • Session Three (Mondays): 8/10/26 – 9/21/26
• Registration opens September 1, 2026 for:
  • Session Four (Mondays): 10/19/26 – 11/23/26
  • Session Four (Thursdays): 10/15/26 – 11/19/26

Little Explorers Cancellation Policy: Programs are rain or shine, except for severe weather. If we cancel due to severe weather, we will utilize the scheduled makeup date. If we cancel additional class days due to severe weather, we will provide a prorated refund for that class(es) at the end of the session. If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance of the first class day, we will provide a refund. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance of the first class day, you will not be eligible for a refund or the option to reschedule.
